  The night of my death started like this,  It was a normal night but this night I heard someone chuckling outside of my door.  I moved and squirmed in my bed thinking to myself it was a creature outside.  What scared me more was that my room was pitch dark I could see nothing.  I felt like someone was at my door but I got back on my bed. 

 I heard another noise after a while and I got from my bed and yelled " who's there ".  I stayed up for an hour but heard nothing else.  After a while of being laid  down on my bed on my eye I saw a small, thin light pointing right toward it.  I began to get scared and more and more my heart kept beating faster and harder. 

  Then I heard a scream and out of nowhere I saw him the person who had been looking at me all night.  He ran as fast as he could towards me he threw me on the ground and quickly he threw my bed over my face.  Many minutes I fought and fought to get out of it but I couldn't I was to old and I had lost most of my strength because of my age. 

 

  There was nothing else to struggle for I knew that I was about to be dead "Do you want to know who it was that committed this treacherous deed"? Of course you won't to know who the man that did this was.Well yes I do know who did this to me but that is a secret that will not be revealed by me only by who did it.

Hunger Games research project

Gladiators were Trained to fight and kill in special schools.Just like in the hunger games where the tributes go to train at a training center. Gladiators were trained to be ruthless and to not stop at nothing(Chris Heaton). Just like the careers in the hunger games.
Gladiators were trained by retired gladiators("Gladiator schools"). In the hunger games the tributes are trained by tributes who won.

Gladiators were mostly always forced to fight in the games.Tributes were the same they were chosen and taken by force.  However they also had the opportunity to volunteer.  In the Hunger Games if you wanted to you could substitute yourself for someone.  People volunteered to be gladiators for glory and fame.

Gladiators were put to fight not only against humans, but also animals.  In the Hunger Games they sent animals in to kill the tributes.  The crowd influences the fate of a gladiator enormously.  If they don't like one they will tell them to kill him.  In the Hunger Games the crowd influences the fate of the tribute.(The Roman Gladiator)

Blog out CH. 21

I can't believe Katniss is actually going to the feast.  She is risking her own life to save Peeta's.  Foxface just grabbed her bag and ran she is smart.  Clove threw a knife at Katniss luckily it didn't hit her or she would be dead.  The second knife got her but only cut her on the forehead.  Clove got her down and she is going to savor the moment of killing her.  Wow I can't believe that Thresh just saved Katniss.  Thresh saved her because Katniss tried to save Rue and stuck with her until she died.

I can't believe the only chance for peeta to survive is for Katniss to go to the feast.  It is very dangerous because the carrers will probably be there.  Peeta dosen't want Katniis to risk her life to save his but Katniss knows it is Peeta's only chance to live.  Katniss agrees to not go because she knows that she will not be able to go while Peeta is awake.  She needs a whole day but she dosen't know how to make Peeta sleep this long.  While she is outside she barely sees a parachute fly in.  In the parachute is a syrup that will make someone got sleep.  She needs to put in the whole bottle into peeta so he will sleep for a full day.  She puts the syrup into him and she knows that she can go to the feast to retrieve the medecine for peeta.  Why would she risk herself for Peeta?

I can't believe that peeta ran to the cornucopia when he told Katniss to not go.  Also he was instructed by Haymitch to not ran to the cornucopia.  I think he shouldn't of gone out to the cornucopia because now he is hurt and limping.  What I find not fair is gamemakers turning Katnisses tree on fire.  She almost died cause of the fire and now she has blisters and has a disadvantage against the other tributes.  Katniss is trapped in a tree ans the careers are under her.  This is very bad news for katniss because she\no way of escaping them.  There is also a wasp nest above her and the wasps could kill her.  She is lucky that Rue told her about it or she would of have benn dead already.  I am suprised that Rue is still alive and that she is right beside Katniss.  I thought that Rue would be dead by now because she had the disadvantage of being small.

To change or not to change

I think it is not right for people to alter themselves.  People should stay how they look normally.  They should not go change their faces and there bodies because the media says they should.  They should stay the way they are because beauty isn't  the outside of someone but what is inside of them.  They shouldn't care what other people think of them they should like what they see in the mirror.  They shouldn't believe anyone else who says that there ugly.  They should care about what they think about themselves.  You should never think that your ugly you always believe what you know is what is true.  You should never try to change yourself because everyone is doing it.  Also never try to change your self to look like a celebrity.  

What does the world say about beauty?

This world influences how we look.  Media is always saying how we should look.  They always tells we should look like a celebrity.  Most of the time we listen to them because we want to be like the rest of the the world we want to fit in.  Media never encourages us to stay the way we are.  They are always criticizing our looks.  They always think of beauty of being how we look. A lot of people who are not to expectations are usually the ones with the real beauty.  Beauty isn't how you look but how you act and treat other people.

My perfect world would be where all people would be equal.  There would be no poor and no rich.  There would be no reason for people to steal.  There would be enough food to feed everyone.  There would no reason for the citizens to go hunting they would have everything they need.  They would have the right to speak and say anything they want.  They would be free and there wouldn't be any reason for the people to be scared of the government.  All people would get along there would be no wars.  Nobody would be scared of being in danger because they would be protected.  Also nobody would ever hurt them .
